I am Nia Weldon
i started my business at 18 and built it around a life that truly looks and feels like freedom. i’ve always been more go-with-the-flow, figure-it-out-as-i-go, but when i care about something, i’m all in. photography has been my safe space since I was 16, its more than just my job, its my passion, my creative outlet, and the greatest honor of my life.
outside of work, i’m big on family, being around people I love, my two kitties, and just enjoying the day-to-day. im a true type b gal, I am down for anything- anyday.

As a type B personality, I bring a calm and steady presence to every session and wedding day. I work well under pressure and focus on creating an environment where you feel supported, safe, and at ease from start to finish.
When you feel comfortable, the images naturally follow. My work blends timeless, editorial imagery with natural, meaningful moments. The result is photographs that feel elegant, romantic, and true to you. Images that not only capture how it looked, but allow you to return to how it felt for years to come.
My Approach
why I do what I do
As someone who has never felt completely comfortable in front of the camera, i understand the desire for beautiful, editorial imagery without the pressure that often comes with it. i’m drawn to those timeless, luxury-inspired photographs but also to the quiet, genuine moments that bring you back to a feeling, a memory, a point in time.
by blending thoughtfully crafted editorial images with natural, candid moments, i create a balance that feels both elevated and effortless. easing the stress of posed luxury photography while still delivering imagery that feels intentional, refined, and meaningful.
the images i create are everything i hope to have of my own family and friends one day, photographs that feel beautiful, honest, and deeply personal.

Molly Weldon is Nia’s lead assistant & content creator, seamlessly wearing many hats throughout the day. As Nia’s sister, she brings a natural rhythm and understanding to every wedding, along with a calm, supportive presence when it matters most. Molly is a mom to her daughter, Zara, happily engaged to Mary , and together they share life with their dog, Odessa.
Molly helps create a relaxed environment while capturing meaningful moments behind the scenes!

final steps before we shoot! contract and invoice are both sent through pixieset, a NON refundable 50% is due at booking, the other 50% is due a day before your shoot, (does not apply to weddings, invoices are due 1 month from your special day)
